Queens Falcons 26 N.Y. Saints 12
Alfred Alonso powered his way for the first score of the game on a 4 yard run
behind the blocking of William Mc Inerney, Alfonse Ortiz, Thomas Murphy,
Stanley Sadlak, Oscar Collins, Ramon Pichardo, Alex Rivera and Christian Geray.
The Play was set up by a 31 yard dash by Raheem Lipford.
Alfonse Ortiz exploded threw the Saints offensive line causing a fumble in the
backfield, he then retrieved the ball for a 15 yard touchdown scamper. David
Meyers accounted for a safety in the third quarter .
Vincent Lindner connected with Raheem Lipdford on a 14 yard TD pass in the
fourth quarter to cap the Falcon scoring. Charles Downs, Kevin Ornelas, Juan
Brito and Roger Cruz put in strong defensive performances in the Falcon Victory.
Position week is this week in the Warner Football Conference so the Queens
Falcon Intermediate squad will await their next opponent. The Springfield
Rifles, Rosedale Jets, Kingsbay Knights and Brooklyn Skyhawks are projected to
finish ahead of the Intermediate Falcons this season.

Far Rockaway defeated the Queens Falcon Pee Wee Team 38-0
Tough loss but coach Bill Spanopoulos said the team will regroup and go back to
fundamentals this week.
The PeeWees will play at Ridgedale at 12Noon.

Saturday October 16, at 12 Noon , Juniper Valley Park (lower field) First place
will be at steak as the Queens Falcons face the Lynvet Blue Mustang?s. The
Lynvet?s are favored to win the division.
