For months parents dropped off their innocent little ones at J&J Dance Studio in Queens Village one floor below a suspected brothel where sophisticated prostitutes serviced at least 30 customers a day, the Queens district attorney said.
DA Richard Brown announced the arrest of the alleged owners/ operators of the suspected house of prostitution at 211-57 Jamaica Ave., one flight up from the dance studio.
The accused were identified as Peter Gavigan, 39 and Ester Anderson, 54, both of 75-32 Parsons Blvd. Brown said they were charged with multiple counts of promoting prostitution and face up to seven years in prison.
