Plans have been filed to demolish a small commercial building in Hunters Point, between Vernon Boulevard and 11th Street, with a new development at the site likely.
Demolition plans were filed two days ago for the two-story, unassuming building at 10-28 47 Ave., home to the offices of Commercial Electrical Contractors, Inc.
The plans were filed by CEC itself, which owns the property, according to city records.
The business also owns the small parking lot adjacent to the building, which has its own address of 10-32 47 Ave.

Development plans for the building and parking lot sites remain unclear. No new building plans have been submitted, and CEC was unable to be reached for comment.
But a listing on City Realty, however, points to plans for a four-story, 10-unit condominium building at the site.
A rendering included in the listing shows a sleek building with red and black paneling.
