The Douglaston Civic Association threatened to sue the state Department of Transportation last week for failing to notify the community about the progress of designs for a controversial reconstruction project along the Long Island Expressway.
Douglaston lawyer and civic association member Sean Walsh said the state DOT failed to inform the civic about the progress of a project that is set to redesign the interchange between the Long Island Expressway and the Cross Island Parkway.
He asked CB 11 to support the planned lawsuit at the board
