About 30 people listened to a community activist who expressed her displeasure with the way the city decides to zone and build in areas in close proximity to residential areas.
At issue was a stretch of the Long Island Expressway and the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway which has in recent months been bombarded with illegal billboards, said Catherine Keeshan, co-president of the United 40 Civic Association in Woodside.
