Rap artist arrested in Oakland Gardens

OAKLAND GARDENS — Joe Budden, a rapper known for last year’s hit single “Pump It Up,” was arrested Wednesday for allegedly going 76 mph in a 50 mph zone on the Clearview Expressway near 53rd Avenue and driving with a suspended license,

Budden, who was a recent guest-host on hip-hop station Hot 97, was driving a 2004 BMW north on the expressway when he was pulled over by highway patrol at 3:30 p.m., the paper reported.
