Rose Gill Hearn, commissioner of the New York City Department of Investigation (DOI), announced the arrest of four New York City Correction officers, Marlyne Gonzalez, Karen Kates, Kim Corbett and Jill Holloway, for submitting forged notes from physicians
The four officers have been charged with varying counts of criminal possession of a forged instrument in the 2nd degree, a Class D felony; grand larceny in the 3rd degree, a Class D felony; offering a false instrument for filing in the 1st degree, a Class E felony; and falsifying business records in the 1st degree, a Class E felony. If convicted, they each face up to seven years imprisonment.
