Senator Klein presents grant to City Island Civic Association

A community is only as strong and stable as its residents, its leaders and civic groups. Such is the case on City Island, and now, thanks in part to a grant from Senator Jeff Klein, the City Island Civic Association will continue its efforts to keep the community thriving.

During a civic association meeting on January 31, Klein presented a $2,500 grant for community programming, funding the senator secured in the Fiscal Year 2005-2006 state budget.
