With the holidays fast approaching, Studio Z, a full-service salon that features a newly-opened boutique, is the place to go for everyone on your list.
Owner and sole proprietor Christine Zeoli, whose celebrity clients have included Joy Behar, Shelley Winters, Katie Couric and Meredith Vieira, to name a few, has 15 years experience in the business of beauty.
“I've done probably everyone in the industry,” she said.
Her new boutique, Fleur de Z, has all the latest in trends, from earrings, necklaces, hair accessories and belts to bracelets, hand-made handbags and embellished T-shirts, and, coming soon, silk ballet slippers.
“I wanted one-stop shopping for my clients, especially for the holidays,” said Zeoli.
What makes Fleur de Z's selection so unique is that each item has a sense of Zeoli's own flair.
“All of the things we have in our store you'll find in magazines,” she said. “I've designed everything, purchased everything and I make a lot of the jewelry. I wanted people to see the items and say, ‘You got that at Studio Z.' ”
She continued, “These are easy-to-wear pieces that coordinate easily. And they are very, very reasonably priced.”
Zeoli told The Queens Courier that she will soon start carrying items for the home such as chandeliers, and that she also has a large variety of beautifully-crafted, elegant wedding jewelry.
“We can get anything a client wants,” she said.
And while you shop, you can also beautify.
Studio Z has a range of services, including hair color (and color correction), individual hair extensions, make-up, facials, and nail and skin care.
They also use and sell only Aveda products.
“We use the best for the best,” said Zeoli.
