South Queens has a new community newspaper

This week The Queens Courier is launching its newest newspaper, The Courier Sun. This weekly community newspaper will serve the entire southern region of Queens.
The Courier Sun will replace The Southeast Queens Courier in the neighborhoods of Cambria Heights, Jamaica, Laurelton, Rochdale Village, Hollis, Rosedale, Springfield Gardens, St. Albans, Briarwood and Queens Village.
The Courier Sun can be found in all locations in which The Southeast Queens Courier was previously distributed. It will also be available the same day, every Thursday.
The Courier Sun will also have a unique zoned edition serving the remaining parts of south Queens including Howard Beach, Woodhaven, Richmond Hill, South Richmond Hill, Ozone Park, South Ozone Park, Broad Channel and the surrounding areas of JFK Airport.
The newspaper will have special door-to-door distribution in Howard Beach. Other key distribution points will include banks, supermarkets, post offices, red boxes on the street and many other high traffic areas.
