Vincent Sasso

Vincent &#8220Vinny” D. Sasso, community activist, passed away recently.
According to residents of the Woodhaven Residents’ Block Association, Sasso was a man who committed and dedicated his life to enrich his beloved community.
Sasso served as director of the Woodhaven Business Improvement District (BID), the chairman and past president of the Greater Woodhaven Development Corporation, and as Parliamentarian of the Woodhaven Residents’ Block Association. He was also a Grand Knight of Columbus.
In recent years, he became a member of the St. Thomas the Apostle Parish Pastoral Council.
Sasso is survived by his wife Mary and two sons, Vincent Jr. and Raymond.
