Chai Lifeline dinner

At the Chai Lifeline 4th annual Queens Appreciation Dinner at the Terrace on the Park on Tuesday, December 12, Councilmember David Weprin showed the city's appreciation for the outstanding community service and dedicated efforts of guests of honor Norman and Sandy Nissel Horowitz. Chai Lifeline is a Jewish organization that raises money to help children with cancer. Weprin and the Horowitz's have enjoyed a long and friendly relationship as members of the Young Israel of Holliswood, with Weprin and Sandy going back even farther, to when the two were at elementary school together.
