WINGS DOMINATE BRONX AA, BUT WILL LEHMAN SPOIL THEIR EFFORT?

When they met during the first week of the season, Wings Academy defeated Lehman High School 87 to 65, but when they meet again on Wednesday, January 3, it could be an entirely different story.

While Wings Academy continues to hand losses out like candy to teams in Bronx AA and lead the division with a 6-0 record, Lehman High School has slowly made a comeback and entered the holiday break with a respectable 4-3 record after some tough losses earlier in the season.

Wings Academy, who prides itself on keeping opponents scores low, faced its stiffest challenge yet when they recently beat John F. Kennedy High School 86 to 81.

In the past, Wings has defeated its opponents by scores of 20 or more, but a chink in the armor began to show when they were only able to squeak by against Frederick Douglas Academy by a score of 67 to 65.
