Assemblymember Audrey Pheffer was proud to join her fellow representatives in the New York State Assembly to honor Wesley Autrey for his act of heroism in early January for jumping in front of an oncoming subway train to save a fellow passenger’s life.“This man went above and beyond the call of duty to save a stranger’s life. Many may say that valor and bravery are dying traits in today’s society, but this man’s actions can reaffirm our faith in humanity,” said Pheffer. The Assembly passed a resolution on January 16 honoring Autrey and his bravery. Pictured are Assemblymember Audrey I. Pheffer, Wesley Autrey and Assemblymember Michele Titus.
