Dave Barckow Band at Margaret Tietz

The “Tietz Concert Series under the Stars” will continue on Thursday, August 16 at 6:30 p.m. with a performance featuring The Dave Barckow Band.
The concert will benefit the Margaret Tietz Nursing and Rehabilitation, which provides long-term care, short-term rehabilitation, hospice/palliative care and adult day health care.
The Dave Barckow Band is led by Barckow, a drummer, guitarist, singer and songwriter who was with a Celtic rock band more than 10 years ago. The group also includes fiddle player/vocalist Vonnie Quinn, soprano saxophonist Rob Mosher and percussionist Shane O’Sullivan.
Together, the members of The Dave Barckow Band bring “new meaning to Irish Step music. Blending their sound of Celtic, alternative, rock and pop, their talent gives even the standards an Irish twist.”
Tickets for the benefit concert are $25 and space is limited. The evening will also include a light dinner, wine and sangria.
Tickets can be purchased by contacting Linda Spiegel at 718-298-7838 or lspiegel@mtnrc.org or Wennie Chen at 718-298-7836 or wchen@mtnrc.org in the center’s Public Affairs Department.
