Executive Director,
Queens Real Estate Expo
Anthony Kazazis loves to connect people. As Executive Director of the second annual Queens Real Estate Expo (QREE), he is thrilled to bring together successful people and those who want to know how to get there.
Conceived almost three years ago, the Expo features exhibits from banks, real estate agencies, attorneys, inspectors and title insurance companies.
Kazazis has an integral role in the conference, as he does most of the promotion, speaker management, and exhibitor acquisition, along with personally answering any calls concerning the conference. This is all in addition to his full-time position as a Title Sales Representative for LandAmerica/CommonWealth Title Insurance, a Fortune 500 company.
He has a deep affection for Queens; he spent 18 years as a resident after graduating from Elmira University with a degree in Business Management. He currently lives in Westchester County with his wife and son.
Kazazis is excited to host an event that gives everyone the tools to succeed.
“If you give knowledge, people give back,” he said.
He noted that he often hears stories about individuals paying too much for titles, land grants and real estate fees. “They pay that much because they don’t know what to expect, they don’t know that they’re being ripped-off, but we’re giving them a nice, clear vision of what to expect.”
In addition to the Queens Real Estate Expo, Kazazis also plans the Odyssey Expo and several smaller breakfast networking events. He started 10 years ago with a small-scale function and realized that he “loved to network and bring people together.”
While education and business are the main goals for the event, it is also fun for everyone. Kazazis hopes that this year will be even better than the last, and that “everyone can feel there’s something for them.”
The QREE will be held on Sunday, September 30 at York College in Jamaica. The Expo will take place in the Academic Building but tickets must be purchased in the Performing Arts Building across the street. Admission price is $5 for adults and $4 for senior citizens, while children 15 and under are free when accompanied by an adult. Register in the Performing Arts building for your chances to win several great prizes.
