The Westchester Square and Zerega communities are demanding a change and now they are taking a stand.
The Committee for Community Growth and Development advisory board met for the first time at Metro Optics February 28, to discuss the issue of social service agencies in the area.
Joined by Senator Jeff Klein and Councilman Jimmy Vacca, the board addressed the growing number of social service venues in the communities, formulating ideas of how to both regulate the existing offices while also preventing more from entering the area.
