Man Killed as He Crosses Street

A 74-year-old man was crossing Hillside Avenue near the Clearview Expressway on Monday, May 26 when he was struck by a Honda Civic. The driver, a 19-year-old female, remained on the scene. The man was taken to Long Island Jewish Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. No criminality is suspected in this case.
