John explains that Tyra Construction primarily does middle-to-high-end residential remodeling. Although his staff specializes in kitchen and bathroom work, they offer all phases of remodeling. To maintain the highest quality of service and craftsmanship, Tyra Construction staffers do all work in-house, with no subcontracting on the majority of projects. A crew of qualified carpenters and apprentices spearheads each project, ensuring that the same faces show up at clients’ homes each day.
Licensed in New York City, some notable properties that the Tyra Construction team has worked on include the 60 East 8th Street Apartments and units at 7 Lexington Avenue, 19 East 88th Street, 1049 Park Avenue and 150 West 56th Street, among others. Tyra Construction is licensed in Nassau and Suffolk Counties as well, and business has taken them from Manhattan out to the Hamptons, serving clients’ needs every step of the way.
