POMONOK — The mother of an infant called police Monday morning after she found her baby had turned blue, authorities said.
Police responding to the 911 call at about 7:14 a.m. Monday arrived at an apartment on the 67th Avenue block of Kissena Boulevard and Emergency Medical Services personnel rushed the 2-month-old infant to New York Hospital Queens, where he was pronounced dead, authorities said.
The medical examiner was to determine cause of death, police said. No criminality was suspected, police said.
