Boy on bike struck

Assam Naveed, 10, was struck as he rode his bike on Little Neck Parkway and Hillside Avenue on Monday, August 25. The driver of the red Mercedes reportedly stayed on the scene and was not issued any summonses. Naveed was taken to Long Island Jewish Medical Center where he underwent surgery later in the day.
