Perp caught in Old Howard Beach

Officers of the 106th Precinct apprehended a suspect in Old Howard Beach, on 159th Avenue and 96th Street on Thursday, May 8.
The perp, in his teens, allegedly stole a bike from behind a house before fleeing.
Cops say he jumped a fence and was hiding behind a house on 96th Street and 160th Avenue when he was taken into custody, at 4:11 p.m.
