A turkey feast thank you

For the 24th year, the Richmond Hill Block Association (RHBA) cooked a full Thanksgiving meal – complete with all the trimmings – for the men and women of the 102nd Precinct. Chef Simcha Waisman (center), Vice President of the RHBA and President of the One Stop Richmond Hill Community Center, was in charge of the turkey. “It began as a way to break the ice, to build a bridge between the community and the police,” he said. “They are very grateful.”
