Annual Winter Concert
Queens College Choral Society
Saturday, December 19
The Queens College Choral Society will have its annual winter concert on campus, 65-30 Kissena Boulevard in Flushing, at 8 p.m. on Saturday, December 19.
They will perform Carl Orff’s “Carmina Burana” and will be joined by dancers. Student artwork will be shown as well.
Tickets are $20 or $18 for seniors, students and alumni and $5 for students with a Queens College ID.

Kwanzaa Celebration
Flushing Town Hall

Flushing Town Hall, located at 137-35 Northern Boulevard, will hold a Kwanzaa Celebration at 2 p.m. on Sunday, December 20.
The event will feature Grammy-winner Bakithi Kumalo, who is a bassist, composer and vocalist.
Tickets are $15 for adults and $12 for children. For members, the cost is $12 for adults and $10 for children.

Annual Holiday Concert
Oratorio Society of Queens
Sunday, December 20
The Oratorio Society of Queens will hold its annual holiday concert at 4 p.m. on Sunday, December 20 at the Queensborough Performing Arts Center, located at 222-05 56th Avenue in Bayside.
The society, under the direction of Maestro David Close, will perform Christmas and Chanukah songs. They will be joined by soprano Geraldine McMillian, tenor John Easterlin, bass-baritone Vaughn Fritts and Cantor Jerry Korobow.
Tickets are $25 or $20 for seniors and students with ID. It is free for children 12 and under.
