Skyline Cruises, located at the World’s Fair Marina in Flushing (north of Citi Field) is putting together a “Hope for Haiti” boat cruise event on Saturday, February 20, to raise finds for disaster relief.
The 350-person capacity yacht will begin boarding at 6 p.m. and depart from the dock at 7 p.m. to cruise the East River to New York Harbor, to the Statue of Liberty and back, returning at 10 p.m.
There will be free parking near the dock, food, drinks (cash bar,) dancing and raffles as breathtaking New York panoramas glide by. Admission is $20 per person in advance and $25 at the event. All the proceeds are going to Doctors Without Borders.
