Jamaica man threatens pupil with knife: Brown

FLUSHING — A Jamaica man was arrested at Queens College last week for allegedly brandishing a knife while harassing a student, the Queens district attorney’s office said.

Lordy Julien, 23, of Hillside Avenue, was arraigned June 7 on menacing, criminal possession of a weapon and harassment in the incident that took place the day before at the school, according to the Queens DA’s office.

Julien approached a student around 11 a.m. and asked her for a cigarette, but when the person said no, he took out the knife, the criminal complaint said.

He allegedly told the girl, “You’re lucky I’m having a good day,” according to the complaint.

A campus security officer later recovered the knife that was longer that 4 inches, the complaint said.
