Newborn South Jamaica baby found dead by cops

SOUTH JAMAICA — A newborn baby was found dead in South Jamaica last week, according to the NYPD.

Police received a 911 call about the infant Nov. 23 at around 12:30 p.m.

Officers responded to 164-19 120th Ave. and found the baby unconscious and unresponsive, police said.

When EMS responders arrived, the baby was pronounced dead at the scene.

As of Tuesday evening, the investigation was ongoing.
