Police are searching for a man wanted for two robberies in Fresh Meadows.
The first robbery took place on Thursday, January 12 at approximately 10:20 p.m. when the suspect approached a 58-year-old man on 161st Street, punching the victim in the head, according to police.
The suspect took an undisclosed amount of money from the victim before fleeing on foot, police said.
The second incident occurred on 65th Avenue on Saturday, January 14. The suspect, this time with an accomplice, approached an 86-year-old from behind, breaking his arm and stealing his wallet and two checks, according to police.
Police described the first suspect as a black male in his 20s, between 5-feet-8-inches tall and 5-feet-10-inches-tall with a mustache.
The second suspect is described as a as a heavyset black male in his 30s.
