CORONA — Police were looking for man a suspected of impersonating a police officer and then robbing a 50-year-old man in Corona.
The NYPD said on Christmas Day at 8:20 a.m., the man approached the victim, told him he was a police officer and then searched him. The fake officer took the man’s watch and wallet, then ran off, police said.
The perpetrator is described as a black man about 5 feet 6 inches tall.
