Firefighters respond to a report of a fire on the third floor of the New York State Veterans’ Home in St. Albans on Linden Boulevard near 180th Street Sunday, according to the Breaking News Network. Fire officials said the call came in at 8:24 a.m. and more than 12 units — with more than 60 firefighters — were used to control the blaze, which was listed under control at 10:07 a.m. Four people were treated for minor injuries at the scene, according to a spokesman for the FDNY. The fire was listed as a suspicious fire and fire marshals were investigating, according to the FDNY.
