The Martin Luther School Varsity Boys defeated Browning 77-69 for their sixth win of season.
Patrick Kelly scored a careerhigh 21 points and added seven assists, while Akram Bahabishi had a double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds. JP Aries also added a double-double with 32 points and 10 rebounds. Bryan Fonseca had a four-point play, scoring a threepointer and making the foul shot.
Austin Rothman added two points and had two critical steals while Johnny Ubiera played solid defense throughout the game.
“Our team has improved over the course of the season,” said Coach John Della Marco. “We have lost five games by less then 10 points. We are rebuilding our basketball program and excited on our improvement as we only won two games last season.”
