BROAD CHANNEL — A Brooklyn man died of injuries sustained after striking a tree and utility pole on Cross Bay Boulevard near East 1st Road, police said.
Authorities said they found Robert Aleca, 23, of Palmetto Street and Wyckoff Avenue, on the street Saturday at 7 a.m. after he was ejected from his 2005 Nissan Altima.
EMS brought Aleca to Jamaica Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival, police said.
