Members of Girl Scout Troops 4941, 4092 and 4121 of Sacred Heart Parish in Glendale marked the 100th anniversary of the Girl Scouts’ foundation with a ceremony on Mar. 11. As noted, the girls held a flag ceremony, performed songs and made pearl bracelets in honor of Juliette Gordon Low, who founded the Girl Scouts in 1912. Each troop also donated non-perishable food items to Sacred Heart Church’s food pantry.
