Young man found dead on Roosevelt Avenue

JACKSON HEIGHTS — A 21-year-old man who may have been drinking was found dead along Roosevelt Avenue early Sunday morning, according to the NYPD.

At about 1:45 a.m., police responded to a call of a man who was possibly intoxicated between 86th and 87th streets, according to the NYPD.

The man was unresponsive, and after EMS arrived was transported to Elmhurst Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

The medical examiner will attempt to determine the cause of death.
