Remembering the Triangle Shirtwaist Fire

The Christ the King Concert Chorus, (at right) led by Heather Arzberger, performs a musical interlude during the unveiling of the Triangle Shirtwaist Fire Memorial, last Wednesday, Mar. 28 at Calvary Cemetery in Woodside. Standing at left watching the performance were Christ The King Regional High School Principal Peter Mannarino, Tony Mulé and Tony DiPiazza of The Federazione Italo-Americana Di Brooklyn And Queens. Former State Sen. Serphin Maltese was also in attendance. At far left, Eugene Burch of the American Legion Continental Post #1424 of Forest Hills holds up the flag.
