Halloween came early in Kew Gardens for these young trick-or-treaters as Maple Grove Cemetery held a parade and pumpkin carving contest on Saturday

As part of the celebration of the Christian season of Lent, children from St. Aloysius Parish acted out a live Stations of the Cross in the Ridgewood church’s parish hall on Mar. 30. The show, which was guided by Fr. George Poltorak, the church’s pastor, accompanied the church’s annual soup and bread meal.
