Girl Scouts Honored

The wonders of western Queens were on display at a special NYC & Company networking event at the Museum of the Moving Image in Astoria on Oct. 18. Employees of local cultural organizations

Members of Boy Scout and Girl Scout troops from around Brooklyn and Queens were honored with awards during a convocation ceremony held by the Catholic Committee on Scouting for the Diocese of Brooklyn on Apr. 29 at Our Lady of Hope Church in Middle Village. Among those participating in the event were scouts and leaders from Junior Girl Scouts Troop 4335 and Cadette/Senior/Ambassador Troop 4215, both of which are based at Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church in Ridgewood.
