Hoisting the State Flag at H. Beach Day Care

Assemblyman Mike Miller held his second annual Hispanic Heritage Awards ceremony last Tuesday

In support of its social studies program, the Reach for the STARS! family day care center in Howard Beach recently received a New York State flag delivered by State Sen. Joseph Addabbo. As noted, Addabbo-whose daughter, Arianna, is part of the program-also provided the center’s children with coloring books which explain what a state senator does in Albany. Addabbo is shown with his daughter holding the flag among the students.
