Leon Fonfa (center), senior development manager at the city Department of Small Business Services, was honored with a Special Recognition Award at the 24th annual meeting of the Myrtle Avenue Business Improvement District (BID), held last Tuesday, June 19 at the Catalpa Avenue branch of Amalgamated Bank. Standing with him are BID Executive Director Theodore Renz (left) and Chairman Herman Hochberg.
