40p1
The Friends of the Ridgewood Library presented Casablanca last Saturday

During the Department of Education’s (DOE) “Respect for All Week,” students from I.S. 93 in Ridgewood collaborated on a project to create decorative quilt squares promoting tolerance and cooperation. With the help of Generation Me, the DOE used some of the squares to create a poster that has been displayed at the Ridgewood public library and at stores around the neighborhood. The participating students, as shown in the left photo, included sixthgrader Randall Lopez, seventh-graders Jazmin Benitez, Erykah Gonzalez, Andrea Ortega and Jennifer Villa and eighth-grader Jia Ming Ye.
