Woodhaven Celebrates Springtime at Biz Group Dinner/dance

Community activists and business leaders in Woodhaven were honored during the Greater Woodhaven Development Corporation’s annual “Everlasting Spring Dinner/Dance” held last Friday night, June 1, at Cordon Bleu Caterers. Guests enjoyed a buffet dinner as well as a variety of enterainment. During the festivities, the GWDC recognized Debra A. Hoffer as its Woman of the Year, Dr. Robert J.Castelli as Man of the Year, Michael D. Brennan as Business Owner of the Year and Jaime J. Illescas as Businessman of the Year. St. Luke’s Nursery School also received the GWDC Special Recognition Award. The honorees are shown in the photos above with GWDC members and elected officials in attendance.
