There will be several full, intermittent bridge closures of up to 40 minutes at the Marine Parkway-Gil Hodges Memorial Bridge on two overnights for necessary inspection and maintenance of the lift span.
The work requires four closures with each lasting between 30 to 40 minutes. They will begin at 10 p.m. July 10 until 5 a.m. July 11.
The same intermittent closures will take place July 11 through July 12 between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m.
Electronic signs will be in place. Motorists are advised to use the Cross Bay Veterans Memorial Bridge as an alternate route.
