Maspeth Lions Fight Diabetes

Members of the Maspeth Lions Club made a contribution to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) during their regular meeting on June 21. As noted, the contribution was made to support the JDRF’s Ride to Cure fund-raising event for research to cure the autoimmune disease that affects thousands of children every year. As shown, Maspeth Lions Club members Joe Licari and Charles Garofalo presented Deborah Cox, a fellow Lion and JDRF New York Board member, with the club’s $500 donation.
