Before opening their production of the Stephen Sondheim musical Into the Woods next week, the Jubilee Cluster Players will be holding a “Fairy Tale Festival” this Sunday, July 29, from 2 to 3:30 p.m. in Middle Village. As noted, the festival will take place at Community United Methodist Church located at 75- 27 Metropolitan Ave. There will be a children’s performance featuring characters from classic fairy tales featured in the musical, including Cinderella (portrayed by Kristin Minara), Little Red Riding Hood (portrayed by Annice Auriemma), Jack and the Beanstalk (portrayed by Loejjie Estacio) and Rapunzel (portrayed by Francesca Negron) followed by carnival games, face painting and lots of goodies.
