Pol Meets with Academy Girls

The Friends of the Ridgewood Library presented Casablanca last Saturday

City Council Member Elizabeth Crowley recently spoke with 30 girls who participated in the PowerPlay NYC Summer Leadership Academy. As noted, the free, eight-week program provides recreational activities, career training and mentoring opportunities for high school girls across the five boroughs. Crowley shared with students her life experiences and path to elected office.
