Smooth Jazz Sounds at Sunnyside Reformed Church

Members of the John V. Daniels VFW Post 2813 in Woodside recently learned how to launch their own businesses through a seminar conducted by Man-Li Kuo Lin of the U.S. Small Business Administration and Queens County Council VFW Commander Bernard Robinson. As noted

Sunnyside Reformed Church welcomed two jazz bands to perform for residents last Saturday, June 30. Pictured in the right photo are members of the band Spoke: Danny Fischer on the drums, Dan Loomis on the bass violin, Eli Asher playing the trumpet and Justin Wood on the alto sax. In the left photo, James Hall Music performs for the crowd. The band consisted of Evan Mazunik (the church’s music director) on the keyboard (not shown), Joao Mota on the drums, Christopher Nolte, on bass guitar; Douglas Bradford on the guitar, James Hall playing the trombone and Jacob Teichrow on the tenor sax.
