ASTORIA — The NYPD wants to find the man who burglarized three businesses in Astoria this month.
Police said on July 17 at 2:30 a.m., a man came through the back door of the restaurant Butcher Bar, at 30th Avenue and 37th Street, and took some money from the cash register. The perpetrator is described as about 20 to 30 years old, having a thin build and being either white or Hispanic.
The same man burglarized the Mister Laundree Laundromat, on 34th Avenue near 32nd Street, police said. The man came through the Laundromat’s rear window at about 3:30 a.m. July 20 and took money from the cash register, police said.
He struck another Laundromat the next day, police said. From around midnight to 5:30 a.m., the man went through a side window at the Astoria Laundry at 24th Avenue and 28th Street and took some money from the cash register, police said.
When last seen, the man was wearing a T-shirt with an eagle on it and dark blue jeans, police said.
