Driver Smashes Into Tree, Fence In Glendale

A woman was seriously injured after the car she was driving lost control and crashed into a cemetery fence and tree along a Glendale street last Saturday night, Sept. 29, it was reported. According to Fire Department sources, the accident occurred at around 6:20 p.m. along Cypress Avenue between Vermont Place and Cypress Hills Street. Members of Engine Co. 286, Ladder Co. 135, the 104th Precinct and EMS units responded to the scene. The driver was taken to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in serious condition.
