Police seeking Rochdale shooting suspect

ROCHDALE — Police have asked for the public’s assistance in locating a man wanted in connection to a double shooting on Guy R. Brewer Boulevard in Rochdale last month.

According to police, at about 9 a.m. on Nov. 9. a 21-year-old man was shot in the abdomen, and a 16-year-old boy was hit by a bullet to the left leg following a dispute.

The shooting suspect – a black man in his late 30s – then fled the scene in a late model Dodge Magnum Station wagon, which was either silver or gray, according to the NYPD.

The suspect is described as between 6-foot and 6-foot-3 with a medium to heavy buid and a short-cropped Afro, police said.
