The Queens Library Foundation held its annual gala last Monday

Before he embarked on his global journey on Christmas night, Santa Claus attended a photo op with local children organized by the Woodhaven Business Improvement District. As noted, more than 300 children got a chance to speak with Kris Kringle and have their photo taken with him. Among those who assisted were members of the BID, including its executive director, Maria Thomson.
